Paul Hastings LLP advised an ad hoc group of senior lenders to Checkers, the owner of over 800 drive-thru Checkers® and Rally's® restaurants, in a recent recapitalization that reduced the Company’s debt from approximately $300 million to $75 million. The ad hoc group of lenders also contributed $25 million in new financing to strengthen Checkers’ balance sheet for long-term growth.

Financial Restructuring co-chair Jayme Goldstein led the Paul Hastings team, which also included partners Sal Perrotto and Matt Schwartz, of counsels Jeremy Evans and Thomas Shiah, and associates Joanne Lau, Sandra Rubinchik, and Tess Sadler.
