Paul Hastings LLP advised as U.S. counsel to the managers on Hana Bank’s issuance of EUR600 million 3.750% SME Empowerment Social Covered Bonds due 2026 under its US$5 billion Global Covered Bond Programme on May 4, 2023. The offering was conducted in reliance on Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and the bonds were dual-listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited and Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the Open Market. 

BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, and Société Générale acted as managers.

Paul Hastings also assisted Hana Bank and dealers with the update of Hana Bank’s US$5 billion Global Covered Bond Programme and US$10 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme, both of which were completed on April 7, 2023.
