Paul Hastings Advises Clear Street and Cohen & Company Capital Markets in $120 Million PIPE Investment to Launch SovereignAI

Paul Hastings LLP advised Clear Street and Cohen & Company Capital Markets, a division of Cohen & Company Securities, as placement agents and financial advisors in a $120 million PIPE investment by OceanPal and NEAR Foundation. The investment will enable OceanPal launch SovereignAI Services, a subsidiary focused on commercializing the NEAR Protocol, a blockchain platform architected for AI use cases.
Partner Jonathan Ko led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates Jessica Kelly and David Kopp.
