Paul Hastings Advises Financing Sources in Partners Group’s $2.2 Billion Acquisition of 11 California Power Plants

Paul Hastings advised the financing sources in Partners Group’s $2.2 billion acquisition of a 1.9 GW portfolio of 11 natural gas power plants in California operated by Middle River Power. The assets include nine simple-cycle peaking facilities and two combined-cycle turbine plants, as well as on-site battery energy storage systems to create hybrid energy centers.

Global Finance partners Marc Lashbrook and David Barash and Energy and Infrastructure co-chair Rob Freedman led the Paul Hastings team, which also included counsel Jason Woolmer and associates Rebecca Goldberg and Adam Seif.
