Paul Hastings Advises IREMIS in Acquisition of German Hotel

Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised Luxembourg-based specialist real estate investment manager IREMIS on the acquisition of the Novotel Freiburg hotel and the simultaneous long-term lease of the hotel to Scandic, one of the leading hotel operators in Northern Europe.

The 219-room hotel features a restaurant and bar, dedicated conference facilities, and wellness and spa area. The hotel will be substantially refurbished and is expected to reopen in autumn 2027 under the Scandic brand.

Paul Hastings advised IREMIS on all legal and tax aspects of the transaction.
