Paul Hastings Advises PAREF Gestion on Acquisition of Retail Park in Germany

Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised PAREF Gestion on the acquisition of a retail park in Germany on behalf of SCPI PAREF Prima.

Located in Naumburg in Saxony-Anhalt, the property is under a long-term lease agreement with Kaufland. The acquisition is part of PAREF Gestion’s continuing expansion in Germany on behalf of its SCPI PAREF Prima.

SCPI PAREF Prima is a real estate fund under French law with a portfolio primarily consisting of commercial properties in the essential retail and convenience sector — including supermarkets, food stores, DIY stores and drugstores — predominantly located on the outskirts of medium-sized towns in Germany and across Europe.

The Paul Hastings team consisted of Frankfurt Real Estate partner Dr. Jan Gernoth, Tax advisor Uwe Halbig and Real Estate associate Dr. Johanna Mayer-Ismail.
