Paul Hastings Advises Regency Centers on $357 Million Portfolio Acquisition in Southern California

Paul Hastings LLP advised Regency Centers Corporation on the $357 million acquisition of a portfolio of five premier shopping centers within the 23,000-acre Rancho Mission Viejo master-planned community in Orange County, California. The portfolio consists of Bridgepark Plaza, Mercantile West, Mercantile East, Terrace Shops and Sendero Marketplace, comprising approximately 630,000 square feet in aggregate. Regency funded the purchase price with a combination of OP units in its operating partnership, the assumption of secured mortgage debt and cash used to pay off a single secured loan.
