Paul Hastings Advises SEMIFIVE on IPO and Listing on the Korea Exchange

Paul Hastings LLP advised SemiFive Inc. on its $87.9 million (KRW 129.6 billion) global offering and listing on the KRX KOSDAQ Market of the Korea Exchange. Samsung Securities and UBS acted as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners. The shares were priced at KRW24,000 each, at the top end of the indicative range.

SemiFive is a global AI and system semiconductor design company, providing end-to-end engineering services that help customers develop and commercialize next-generation chips faster.

Partner Iksoo Kim led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associate Sye Myung Kim, and attorneys David Park and Hee Jin Woo.

Paul Hastings’ Korea practice has advised on a number of landmark capital markets transactions since 2023, including LG CNS’ $823 million IPO, HD Hyundai Marine Solution’s $545 million IPO, Doosan Robotics’ $317 million IPO and Shift Up’s $315 million IPO.
