Paul Hastings Advises UMH Properties on Sale of Unsecured Bonds in Israel

Paul Hastings LLP served as U.S. securities counsel to UMH Properties, Inc. (NYSE and TASE: UMH) on the issuance and sale to investors in Israel of approximately $80.2 million of 5.85% Series B Bonds due 2030. The sale represents UMH’s second bond offering in Israel and one of only a few bond offerings in Israel by publicly traded U.S. REITs.

The Paul Hastings team included partners Scott Chase and Kerry Johnson and senior counsel Jeff Lowenthal, who has been advising UMH Properties on securities matters for more than ten years. Other members of the team included partner Jeff Ramsay, of counsel Shai Marshall and associates Kim McKenzie and Greg Drozdzal. Partner Joseph Opich provided support on tax matters.
