Paul Hastings Advises ZTE Corporation in Convertible Bonds Issuance

Paul Hastings (Hong Kong) LLP advised ZTE Corporation (0763.HK/000063.SZ), a world-leading provider of integrated telecommunications and information technology solutions, on the issuance of RMB 3.584 billion (US$499.3 million) in U.S. dollar-settled zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2030. The bonds are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
ZTE Corporation intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to enhance its R&D investments in “computility” (computing and utility network) products.
Founding partner and chair of Greater China Raymond Li led the Paul Hastings team, which also included of counsel Jeff Lee, associates Alex Chan and David Lam, senior legal manager Jodie Lee and trainee solicitor Henri Leung.
