Paul Hastings Helps Provide 100,000+ Meals Through City Harvest Fundraiser

For the third year in a row, Paul Hastings participated in City Harvest’s Share Lunch Fight Hunger fundraiser, an annual campaign to provide free nutritious food to children and families during the summer months.

This year, the firm exceeded its $50,000 fundraising goal, raising $53,588 and placing second among all corporate teams. Since 2023, Paul Hastings has raised over $114,000 for Share Lunch Fight Hunger, helping to provide critical meals to thousands of New Yorkers in need. This year’s fundraising alone will help provide more than 100,000 meals to children and families across the city.

“Each year, the Share Lunch Fight Hunger fundraiser brings out the very best of our firm's team spirit,” said Jayme Goldstein, global co-chair of Paul Hastings’ Financial Restructuring Group. “It’s incredibly rewarding to come together to fight food insecurity in our community while also strengthening our internal connections and collaboration. This initiative embodies what Team Paul Hastings in the Community is all about.”

Founded in 1982, City Harvest helped launch the food rescue movement. The organization continues to be a critical resource for food-insecure New Yorkers. This year, City Harvest will rescue nearly 83 million pounds of nutritious food and deliver it for free to hundreds of food pantries and soup kitchens across the five boroughs.
