
Overview
Alec Sweet is an associate in the Litigation Department at Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Alec's practice focuses on investigations and white collar defense as well as complex commercial and securities litigation.
Alec received his law degree from Duke University School of Law in 2023. In law school, he served as a note editor for the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy where he also published a case commentary on Mississippi v. Tennessee. He also interned with the Florida State Attorney’s Office in Fort Lauderdale working in the Homicide Department. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Pomona College in 2020, where he also played for Pomona’s football team.
Alec is admitted to practice law in California.
