Overview
Audrey Karman is an associate in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Karman's practice focuses on matters relating to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and international anti-corruption law. She has experience advising multinational clients on anti-corruption compliance programs, risk assessments, conducting due diligence on third party intermediaries, and corruption-related internal investigations. Ms. Karman has also worked on corporate monitorships, including helping clients enhance their anti-corruption compliance programs to satisfy the terms of settlements with enforcement agencies.
Ms. Karman received her law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2013. As a third year law school student, she participated in the Transnational Practicum where she assisted counsel with a military tribunal proceeding at Guantanamo Bay and drafted memoranda to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. She graduated from Duke University in 2008 where she double majored in International Relations and Spanish. Ms. Karman is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
