Bruce Yen is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Palo Alto office. He focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he was a signal integrity engineer at Intel Corporation in the Flash products group.
Mr. Yen has litigated in a variety of high technology industries, including cybersecurity, semiconductor, telecommunications, optics, interactive program guides, and navigation systems. He has represented clients in federal district courts as well as before the United States International Trade Commission.

511 Innovations, Inc. v. HTC America, Inc. (E.D. Tex.) - Represented HTC in patent litigation allegedly relating to optical sensor technology. Case settled favorably shortly before trial.
Intellectual Ventures LLC (IV) v. Trend Micro (Del.) - Counsel for Trend Micro in a patent infringement action allegedly relating to security software methods.
Nokia Corporation v. HTC America, Inc., et al. (Del.) - Counsel for HTC in a multi-patent infringement action allegedly related to various aspects of handset technology. After litigation in both the ITC and multiple district court proceedings, the parties reached a successful global settlement.
Content Aggregation Solutions LLC v. Sony Mobile Communications Inc., et al. (S.D. Cal.) - Counsel for Sony, Huawei, and LG Electronics in a patent infringement action allegedly relating to Google Now Cards on the Android operating system. Favorable settlement was reached following an order finding all claims invalid.
In the Matter of Certain Products Containing Interactive Program Guide and Parent Control Technology (Inv. No. 337-TA-845 and 337-TA-820) - Counsel for Rovi Corporation and related subsidiaries in an ITC investigation against Netflix Inc., Vizio, Inc., LG Electronics, Mitsubishi Electric Corp., and Roku, Inc. relating to program guides and parental controls and in related district court proceedings.
