Deanna Hall is an associate in the Investment Management practice group and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Her practice focuses on advising investment management firms in connection with the formation, structuring, marketing, management and regulatory compliance of private funds. She also advises institutional investors in connection with their investments in all classes of private funds, co-investments, and secondary transactions.
In 2021, Ms. Hall was on secondment at a global private equity fund-of-funds that invests on behalf of public and private pension plans, insurance companies, endowments and foundations across private equity, infrastructure, real assets and private debt strategies.
Ms. Hall received her law degree from The University of Chicago Law School in 2020 and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 2015. During law school, she argued at the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit on behalf of the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic and now serves as a member of the Pro Bono Committee for the firm's Los Angeles office.
