Anand B. Patel is an attorney in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. His practice focuses on intellectual property matters, including trade secret and patent trials and appeals, post-grant proceedings, and client counseling. He has extensive experience handling all facets of disputes involving trade secrets, employee mobility, and economic espionage, and routinely leads internal investigations and compliance reviews for domestic and international clients.
Mr. Patel served as a law clerk to the Honorable William C. Bryson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Prior to law school, Mr. Patel spent three years as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, specializing in computer architecture applications.
Mr. Patel also teaches Trade Secrets Law & Practice at The George Washington University Law School.
