James Grogan is a partner in the Restructuring practice, based in Houston. He has a national reputation for successfully representing company and creditor clients in complex financial restructurings, bankruptcy cases, and out-of-court workouts. He focuses on solving his clients’ most challenging problems by designing and implementing negotiation and litigation strategies, and serving as lead trial counsel in bankruptcy disputes. Mr. Grogan also has extensive experience with complex cross-border restructurings, having advised on some of the most important, market-leading engagements in recent years.
Mr. Grogan also frequently handles appellate matters in bankruptcy cases, and has argued a case of first impression regarding lien extinguishment to the Second Circuit.
