Jarryd Cooper is an associate in the Employment practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, as well as wage-and-hour collective and class actions in state and federal courts. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Cooper counsels clients regarding workforce reductions, terminations, hiring practices, exempt-status classification, and review of company policies.
Mr. Cooper earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2013. While in law school, he served as judicial extern to the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the Honorable John A. Kronstadt, United States District Court, Central District of California. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 2008, and is admitted to practice in California.
