Peter Hegel is an associate in the Litigation practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. His practice concentrates on two substantive areas: finance and restructuring and privacy and cybersecurity.
Mr. Hegel received his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 2017, where he participated in the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab Clinic as a student director. During law school, Mr. Hegel also served as a legal intern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Legal Studies, cum laude, from Northwestern University in 2011. Mr. Hegel is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
