
Overview
Erin Zacuto Cass is of counsel in the Fintech and Investigations & White Collar Defense practices of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She represents financial services companies and individuals in confidential federal and state investigations, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), state attorneys general, and state banking agencies, and in related litigation. Ms. Cass counsels finance companies and individuals in identifying risks and adhering to regulatory requirements with respect to consumer protection laws.
Ms. Cass previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Patrick L. Woodward of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland and the Honorable Ronald B. Rubin of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Cass worked as a paralegal specialist at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.
