
Overview
Gawon Go is a senior associate in the Litigation Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on high-stakes complex commercial litigation involving high-technology, such as semiconductor, operating system, machine learning, financial technology and cryptocurrency.
Gawon has represented individuals, corporations, financial institutions and technology companies in state and federal civil litigation involving allegations of securities fraud, design defect, misrepresentation, antitrust violations and breach of contract. She has experience in bench and jury trials, and mediation. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Gawon served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lorna G. Schofield of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

- Represented Meta Platforms, Inc. in a multi-billion dollar nation-wide multi-district litigation in the Northern District of California, and related State AG actions, involving machine learning algorithm technology, relating to allegations of product liability, unjust enrichment, state consumer law violations, among others.
- Represented a cryptocurrency company in a securities fraud litigation in the Southern District of New York.
