Jack Murray is an associate in the Real Estate Department and is based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. Jack represents clients across a broad spectrum of real estate asset classes and corporate matters with substantial experience in structuring and executing complex transactions. Jack advises clients including real estate operators and developers, private equity firms, real estate funds, institutional investors, family offices and endowments and real estate investment trusts (REITs) on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, financings, restructurings, development transactions and construction agreements.

His lender-side experience includes structuring and closing mortgage loans to be securitized and syndicated in the secondary market. He has also represented both borrowers and lenders in workouts and modifications of distressed loans.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, he practiced with a large global law firm in Washington, D.C., specializing in ground up development work across single-family-rental, build-to-rent, multifamily and industrial real estate platforms nationwide.
