Overview

Jonathan Cardenas is an associate in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's New York office. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and general corporate matters.  

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Cardenas was a corporate associate with an international law firm in Washington, D.C. He also completed postdoctoral fellowships with the Information Society Project at Yale Law School and the Transatlantic Technology Law Forum at Stanford Law School.

Mr. Cardenas’ writing on private equity and venture capital investment in fintech has been featured in print and digital publications including ABA Business Law TodayGlobal Corporate Venturing MagazineThe International Comparative Legal Guide to: FintechGlobal Legal Insights: Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Regulation, and Global Legal Insights: Fintech Laws & Regulations.
