Kamal Rettrey is an associate in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Chicago office.

Mr. Rettrey's practice focuses on Private Equity and M&A transactions. He also assists clients with various corporate matters, including finance, funds, restructuring and corporate governance.

Mr. Rettrey received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2024. During law school, he was an adjunct instructor through Georgetown's Street Law Program. Before attending law school, Mr. Rettrey worked as a teacher and later served as a school leader at a charter school in Chicago. Mr. Rettrey is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
