
Overview
Katelyn (Katie) Katsuki is an associate in the Technology Transactions group and is based in the firm’s New York office. Her practice focuses on artificial intelligence, intellectual property and emerging technologies — advising clients on governance, risk and regulatory compliance.
Katie has extensive experience counseling public and private companies on AI governance frameworks, AI product counseling and commercialization strategies and responsible AI initiatives. She regularly advises clients on the ethical and legal implications of artificial intelligence, helping organizations navigate evolving regulatory landscapes while aligning AI technologies with business objectives and compliance requirements. She frequently presents to Fortune 500 companies and asset managers on AI governance.
Katie has also advised clients on privacy and cybersecurity matters, focusing on regulatory compliance, data protection and risk management strategies.
The Legal 500 has recognized Katie in Technology Transactions for her expertise in advising public and private companies on various technology matters in complex corporate transactions. In addition to her legal practice, she is an adjunct professor at New York Law School.
