Overview

Keith Fujiu is Of Counsel in the Paul Hastings Global Finance practice and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles and Century City offices.

Mr. Fujiu has broad experience in U.S.-focused and cross-border financings, including acquisition, split-lien, first lien / second lien, first-out / last-out unitranche, asset-based lending, tech / software lending, cash flow lending, syndicated and direct lending, mezzanine debt, refinancings and recapitalizations. Mr. Fujiu has significant experience with acquisition financings, including representing lenders providing commitment letters and financing in connection with a variety of business sectors, such as apparel and accessories, enterprise software, aftermarket automotive, pet products, lumber, building materials, flow-control products, industrials, home goods, self-storage, packaging products and plastics.

 

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Mr. Fujiu was a Partner in the finance practice of another international law firm.

  • Represented the agent and lenders in a $92 million unitranche financing in connection with the acquisition of an enterprise software company.

  • Represented the agent and lender in a $25.5 million financing to an enterprise software company.
  • Represented the asset-based agent and lender in a $710 million unitranche financing in connection with the acquisition of a plastic goods manufacturer.
  • Represented the asset-based agent and lender in a $190 million unitranche financing in connection with the acquisition of a products and services company in the energy sector.
  • Represented the agent and lender in a cross-border split-lien $60 million revolving line of credit in connection with a dividend recapitalization of a company in the plastics industry.
  • Represented the agent and lender in a split-lien $75 million revolving line of credit in connection with the acquisition of an apparel and accessories maker.
  • Represented the agent and lender in a split-lien $100 million revolving line of credit in connection with the acquisition of a pet products company.
