Mariana Espinoza is an associate in the Corporate Department of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Chicago office. Mariana focuses her practice on leveraged finance and other debt financing transactions.

Her experience includes representing private equity sponsors, corporate borrowers and other types of borrowers in a range of financing matters. She assists clients with mergers and acquisitions as well as general corporate and corporate governance matters. Mariana also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Mariana received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2025, where she focused on transactional law coursework through Emory’s Center for Transactional Law and Practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago with majors in Political Science and Sociology, graduating summa cum laude. Mariana is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
