Overview
Matthew Snyder is of counsel in the Boston office of Paul Hastings.
Matthew represents emerging growth and established companies across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on complex technology transactions, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, communication and sensing and other disruptive technologies.
Matthew regularly advises clients with respect to complex acquisitions, licensing and development arrangements within the technology space, including:
- Datacenter and artificial intelligence computing arrangements.
- Quantum computing demonstration and pilot agreements.
- Technology and intellectual property acquisitions.
- Strategic alliances and joint ventures.
- Intellectual property licensing.
- SaaS and other "as a service" offerings.
- Information technology and business process outsourcing.
- Development, manufacturing, supply and commercialization engagements.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew worked for international law firms in Boston and Toronto, Canada and at a Fortune 500 aviation company.

- Voyager Space on a joint venture to design, build and operate the Starlab commercial space station.
- AAR in the acquisition of Triumph Group's product support business.
- Astera Institute on its investment in Imbue, an emerging Al company.
- An Al computing company on the establishment of its Al compute business.
- A major transportation company in the procurement and implementation of a computer-aided dispatch and vehicle location system.
