Max Epstein-Shafir is an associate in the Complex Litigation and Arbitration practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm's San Francisco office. He is a member of the Environmental and Energy Group, and his practice focuses on environmental disputes, compliance and regulatory matters.

Max received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2024, where he served as an associate editor for the California Law Review and was a member of the Startup Law Initiative. He earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Music from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. Max is admitted to practice law in California.
