Michael Pelle is an associate in the Tax practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, joint ventures and financing transactions.

Michael received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2021, where he was an editor for the Yale Law Journal. He earned a B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from Duke University in 2016.

Following his graduation from law school, Michael clerked for the Honorable William J. Kayatta, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
