Robert Owoo is an attorney in the Corporate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses on securities and capital markets, venture capital, and general corporate matters.
Education
Mr. Owoo received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. While in law school, he gained varied experiences, including as a teaching assistant for corporate and tax law classes and as a volunteer with the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. Prior to attending law school, he earned a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago, where his research focused on the intersection of international economic law and politics in sub-Saharan Africa. He also assisted Professor Tom Ginsburg with similar research at the American Bar Foundation. Mr. Owoo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Ghana.
Mr. Owoo is admitted to practice law in New York.
