Tor Tarantola is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department. His practice focuses on motions and appeals in complex and high-stakes commercial, corporate, and regulatory disputes. He has represented parties in the Federal and D.C. Circuits and co-authored amicus briefs in three matters before the U.S. Supreme Court. He regularly embeds with trial teams to help craft dispositive motions, preserve issues for appeal, and develop novel and cross-cutting legal arguments, often on questions of first impression.

Tor has helped litigate a broad range of disputes, including patent, trade secret, copyright, and trademark claims, shareholder claims against corporations and fiduciaries, general contract disputes, and administrative-law challenges to federal agency actions. He is regularly called on to help craft arguments involving the interpretation of statutes, contracts, and patent claims.

He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Tor is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he won first prize in the Joseph A. Chubb brief-writing competition and shared the Thomas I. Emerson prize for scholarship related to statutory interpretation.
