Jennifer St. John Yount and Bruce DePaola Recognized at New York Legal Awards
September 09, 2025
The New York Law Journal honored Global Finance co-chair Jennifer St. John Yount and Real Estate partner Bruce DePaola at the New York Legal Awards 2025. Jennifer was named Dealmaker of the Year for the second year in a row, and Bruce was recognized for Real Estate Transaction of the Year.
The New York Legal Awards celebrate the leading practitioners who “represent the pinnacle of legal achievement in New York.”
Jennifer has advised on more than a dozen $1 billion-plus “mega deals” in the last year, including Apollo and BC Partners’ acquisition of a Canadian waste management company valued at CA$8 billion and Clearlake Capital’s $5.3 billion majority growth investment in ModMed.
Bruce led the team that advised New York City Football Club LLC and its affiliates in connection with the leasing of the development site for Etihad Park, a 25,000-seat professional soccer stadium opening in March 2027. The soccer stadium — a first for New York City — is entirely privately financed, and the transaction took more than a decade to complete.
