Paul Hastings’ IP Practice ‘Highly Recommended’ in Latest USA Patents Rankings

World IP Review has recognized Paul Hastings’ Intellectual Property practice in the 2025 edition of USA Patents Rankings as a “Highly Recommended” firm for contentious matters. In addition, the publication singled out Global Intellectual Property co-chairs Naveen Modi and Eric Dittmann and partner Robert Unikel for individual recognitions.
The annual rankings provide “a shortlist of the firms and lawyers at the forefront of the world’s most lucrative patent market.”
Naveen was recognized as “Outstanding,” Eric as “Highly Recommended” and Robert as “Recommended” in this listing of “the lead practitioners driving the work” in U.S. patent litigation this past year.
WIPR noted in Paul Hastings’ ranking profile that the firm “is particularly strong in the area of post-grant proceedings.” The Intellectual Property Group “has clinched significant victories at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) for tech giants Google, Meta, Samsung, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, as well as major life sciences players including AbbVie, Genentech, Merck, and Daiichi Sankyo.”
