Client Successes

Successfully defended and obtained a full dismissal with prejudice for Shell and its subsidiaries in Los Angeles Superior Court against allegations that a promotion run by the companies violated California’s Unfair Competition Law and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act.

Secured a global walkaway settlement for Amgen in a breach of contract dispute relating to Amgen's therapeutic antibody denosumab, which is the active ingredient in two drugs products used to treat osteoporosis and hypercalcemia.

Obtained victory on behalf of New World Development in our ongoing representation of the company following our efforts that lead to a US$2.87B judgment in 2006. Judgment was obtained for the sum of ¥9B after over three years of litigation in an historic win.
