The FDIC rescinded Financial Institution Letter (FIL-32-2023) addressing the Supervisory Approach Regarding Supervisory Guidance on Multiple Re-Presentment NSF Fees effective immediately.

SEC Chair Issues Statement on No-Action Letter to Bank of England

April 10, 2026

Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Paul S. Atkins issued a statement following a Division of Corporation Finance no-action letter to the Bank of England. The letter addressed application of the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933 if the bank exercises its statutory bail-in powers with respect to a U.K. bank or a U.K.-regulated investment firm that is failing or likely to fail.
