
Overview
Kenneth Bagdasar is an associate in the Tax practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s New York office. Mr. Bagdasar’s practice focuses on the U.S. federal income tax issues related to all aspects of various domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity-backed investments, structured credit (with an emphasis on collateralized loan obligation transactions), corporate restructurings and capital markets.
Mr. Bagdasar received his LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law in 2022. He received his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2021, where he was the recipient of the Law Dean’s Outstanding Scholar Scholarship. While in law school, Mr. Bagdasar passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examinations and served as President of the Federalist Society and Executive Editor of the International Law Journal. He also interned in KPMG’s International Tax group and represented low-income taxpayers through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
Mr. Bagdasar received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting (with distinction in Accounting) from San Diego State University in 2018. Mr. Bagdasar is admitted to practice law in New York and California. He is also a licensed CPA.
