Nuts and Bolts of California Wage and Hour Litigation: Common Claims, Key Defenses and Avenues of Adjudicationems

Saturday, November 15 09:30 AM PDT to 12:45 PM PDT

This program will feature two dynamic panels on California wage and hour litigation. The first panel, comprising experienced practitioners from both sides of the bar, will provide a practical overview of the most common wage and hour claims, key defenses and recurring pitfalls from each side’s perspective. The second panel, consisting of a plaintiffs’ attorney, a defense attorney and a Los Angeles Superior Court Complex Civil Court judge, will explore the vehicles and forums through which wage and hour claims are litigated (i.e., arbitration, class actions and representative (PAGA) actions) and offer insights on strategic and procedural considerations.
