Summit on Artificial Intelligence Governance in the Life Sciences Industry

Thursday, November 06 10:00 AM EDT to 4:00 PM EDT

Paul Hastings is hosting a one-day Summit on Artificial Intelligence Governance in the Life Sciences Industry on November 6, 2025, bringing together legal and compliance professionals in life sciences to explore how companies can effectively govern and evaluate the use of AI.

We will focus on a practical decision-making model that defines key decision-makers, decision-making criteria and AI assessment processes to help organizations balance opportunity and risk. Through real-world use cases, we’ll discuss the unique risks AI poses to privacy, intellectual property, regulatory and business strategy functions, how these functions should approach AI adoption and the critical questions they need to be asking.

Our agenda is designed to deliver both strategic insight and practical application, including by exploring:

  • The basics of artificial intelligence
  • An overview of the regulatory landscape
  • The legal risks for life sciences companies (panel discussion)
  • A proposed operating governance model
  • A mock life-sciences use-case evaluation (interactive session)
