Jordan Hill is an associate in the Technology Transactions group and is based in the firm’s Orange County office in California.

Jordan advises clients on the intellectual property and technology aspects of mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions. His practice spans a wide range of industries, including life sciences, software, energy, consumer products and financial services. He counsels public and private companies, as well as private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, on structuring complex commercial arrangements involving intellectual property, software, data rights and emerging technologies. Jordan has substantial experience drafting and negotiating a variety of technology-related agreements, including licensing, development, collaboration, carve-out, investment, manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements, often in the context of high-value or cross-border transactions.

Before joining Paul Hastings, Jordan practiced at a leading international law firm, where he advised on technology-driven transactions and contributed to the firm’s thought leadership on artificial intelligence. Earlier in his career, he worked in regulatory, quality assurance and laboratory roles in the chemical and medical sectors, giving him a unique technical foundation that informs his legal practice.
