Astorg and Bridgepoint acquire Irish fintech Fenergo
London – Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, has advised European private equity group, Astorg Partners, and the consortium vehicle owned 50:50 between funds advised by Astorg and international private equity group, Bridgepoint, to acquire Fenergo Group Limited from its founder Marc Murphy, Insight Partners, existing management and other minority investors.
Fenergo, headquartered in Ireland, is a leading developer and provider of know-your-customer and client lifecycle management SaaS solutions for financial institutions including ICBC Standard Bank, Santander, Mizuho, ABN AMRO and BNP Paribas.
The Paul Hastings cross-border team was led by Alexis Terray, M&A Partner in Paris, Garrett Hayes, M&A Partner in London, with senior M&A associate David Prowse in London. The Paul Hastings team also included Camille Paulhac, competition partner in Paris, and Paris competition associate, Juliette Hua. Other advisors involved in the deal include Allen & Overy, Willkie Farr & Gallagher, William Fry and Arthur Cox.
