Paul Hastings Advises Brookfield Investment Managements Closed-end Infrastructure Fund on IPO

-- Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Brookfield Investment Management Inc., a global investment manager focused on specialized equity and fixed income securities investments, in a $155 million initial public offering for the Brookfield Global Listed Infrastructure Income Fund Inc, a registered closed-end investment company. The portfolio of the fund will consist of publicly traded equity securities of infrastructure companies.

The shares began trading on August 26, 2011 under the symbol INF on the NYSE. Assuming full exercise of the underwriters overallotment option, the fund will have raised $177 million. The initial public offering was led by Bank of Americas Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, UBS Investment Bank and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC.
