Mr. Parola, former global co-chair of the Renewable and Clean Energy Industry Sector Group at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, is one of the leading energy lawyers in Italy. He joins from Grimaldi Studio Legale, the Italian successor firm of Dewey & LeBoeuf, where he was a partner.

Mr. Parola provides transactional assistance, finance and regulatory advice to a wide variety of clients on a broad spectrum of energy issuesfrom M&A, project finance, project development and construction law to regulatory work, trading, and commercial contracts. He has significant experience advising clients throughout the entire energy chain, from oil & gas (upstream, midstream and downstream) to conventional generation and petrochemical, including permitting and regulatory issues related to the development of gas infrastructure and power projects. Mr. Parolas expertise extends to project development, specialty commercial contracts, physical and financial energy and CO2 trading, as well as national and international arbitration.
