Paul Hastings Deepens Chicago Corporate Practice with Hire of Top M&A Lawyer

, has joined the Mergers & Acquisitions practice in Chicago. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and securities compliance and board governance and advisory work.

Mr. Malik has a broad range of experience in corporate law with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities and venture capital financings, as well as general corporate and securities advisory matters. He has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, strategic investments and joint ventures in aerospace, publishing, software development, gaming and financial and shareholder services. Mr. Malik joins from Jenner & Block LLP, where he served as co-chair of the firms M&A practice and as a member of the Management Committee.

Along with Mr. Malik,

has also joined the Chicago office as of counsel in the M&A practice. Ms. Sheiman represents public and private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other complex business transactions.
