Paul Hastings Represents Brookfield Investment Management in $75 Million Rights Offering

New York, NY Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Brookfield Investment Management and its Helios Total Return Fund, Inc. in a three-for-one transferable rights offering, where UBS Securities LLC acted as the Dealer Manager. The rights offering concluded on October 19, 2012 and was over-subscribed. Helios Total Return Fund, Inc. issued 3,500,000 new shares of common stock in the rights offering and raised approximately $75 million.
