Paul Hastings Represents Related California in Construction of The Village at Santa Monica

Los Angeles, CA (March 7, 2012) - Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Related California, a subsidiary of the affordable residence and luxury developer The Related Cos., in the construction on The Village at Santa Monica, a $350 million village in downtown Santa Monica.

The Village at Santa Monica, a mixed-use, mixed-income development on Ocean Avenue, includes 318 luxury condominiums and affordable rental apartments, 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, and walkable plazas and gardens. Construction financing is being provided by Wells Fargo Bank and HSBC. The completion is slated for January 2014.
