Paul Hastings (Europe) LLP advised private real estate investment fund manager Henderson Park in connection with the acquisition of the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian. Henderson Park, in tandem with its in-house hospitality operator and asset manager, Klarent Hospitality, plan to renovate and upgrade the hotels’ rooms and facilities.

The Caledonian, one of Edinburgh’s most iconic hotels, has welcomed a long list of famous guests including the late Queen Elizabeth II and former U.S. President Barack Obama. It is the third Edinburgh hotel in Henderson Park’s Klarent Hilton portfolio, having purchased the Carlton on North Bridge and the Doubletree Edinburgh Airport.
