Paul Hastings Advises BTG Pactual and Syndicate of Banks in ISA Energia’s Follow-On Offering

Paul Hastings LLP advised BTG Pactual, as lead global coordinator, and BofA Securities, Bradesco BBI and Itaú BBA, as joint bookrunners and placement agents, in ISA Energia Brasil S.A.’s R$1.2 billion (US$233.81 million) follow-on offering of 44,444,444 preferred shares. The offering is primarily intended to fund an equalizing payment under a share-swap transaction with Axia Energia S.A. (formerly Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S.A. – Eletrobras) to acquire the remaining 49% interest in IE Madeira.
