Paul Hastings LLP is advising Extell Development Company in a multi-faceted transaction with Alterra Mountain Company, which will result in a major terrain expansion and further development of Deer Valley Resort and other nearby lands in Park City, Utah. The new development will include a new village and portal, dramatically improving access to the resort, as well as adding world-class lodging, luxury residences, fine dining, and retail amenities. Deer Valley’s skiable terrain is expected to more than double, adding 16 new lifts, including a new 10-passenger gondola.
