Paul Hastings Advises FCDE in the Sale of Its Majority Stake in the Bertin Group

Paul Hastings LLP advised FCDE in the sale of its majority stake in the Bertin group to Fremman Capital, Chequers Capital and Bertin group’s management.

The Bertin group is a European designer and manufacturer of high-technology instrumentation solutions for critical and scientific applications in the photonics, defense and security, nuclear and life sciences industries. Under its new envisaged ownership, the Bertin group will be ideally positioned to pursue its development, accelerate its international expansion and consolidate its leadership across its strategic markets. The transaction remains subject to information and consultation of employee representative bodies and any required regulatory approvals.

FCDE has been the majority shareholder of the Bertin group since 2022, alongside the management team and BNP Paribas Développement.
